As a first-time Summit attendee, I think one of the most impactful takeaway was realizing that I AM a leader, period. That I CAN and SHOULD start cultivating authentic and effective leadership qualities from this moment onward, because there's simply no such thing as learning how to be a leader only when I obtain a 'leader' title. Secondly and importantly, most leadership "trainings" often focus on generic principles and practical ways to lead one's team, based on a corporate/ career-based setting. But this Summit has opened up my eyes to see leadership in every aspect of my life (family, ministry, even one's PERSONAL leadership), and apply leadership qualities in a flexible, multifaceted way.
